Positive Post Tuesday
Last night my church took part of an event called The Gathering Inn. There are 27 churches that provide 50 or so homeless people a good meal and a place to sleep for the night. The ministry revolves between churches to avoid one church getting burnt out. But still there are countless individuals who take the time to run this program. They understand the heart that God has for the poor and the least these and have taken it upon themselves to care for these people. It was an honor to take part in this event for just one night and I have great admiration and respect for the people who take part in this ministry full time. All the work that goes into the setup and as well looking outside your own struggles and life and taking the time to love people that just need love.

Hi there. I see that blue bus from time to time on the freeway. I live in Auburn and attend church in Applegate. It's cool that your church participates in this valuable service to our community; I've always thought it was a great idea.
